Fargesia Similaris KR 4175

A hardy, non-running bamboo collected by Keith Rushforth in Yunnan at Zhongdian to the Yangtze and introduced into the UK via Ness Botanic Gardens.

Very attractive fresh green foliage and a dense, fairly upright or slightly arching habit. Leaves are approximately 9cm long  x 1cm in width.

A very worthwhile introduction but has been slow to propagate and is ulikely to be avaiable until 2012.
