An non-running bamboo capable of reaching at least 8m. Possibly one of the fastest growing Borinda's under UK conditions.

Young culms have the bluish grey colouring characteristic of Borinda's.

Upright habit with highly attractive  feathery foliage.

Appears fully hardy and is believed to have tolerated -15C

 Sun or semi - shade.

Collected in Tibet near Station 116 in the Chu Valley at around 3,600m.

A new introduction which promises to be a highly impressive specimen plant or tall screen.

Very limited availabiity at present.
