Fargesia (Borinda) angustissima

A highly attractive, newly introduced bamboo. Plentiful thin, arching culms, initially with a waxy bloom and possibly reaching 20ft (6m).

Perhaps only hardy to -9C. (also listed as Borinda angustissima ) 

A choice specimen plant for sheltered sites in sun or light shade in disticts with relatively mild winters. This species seems unsuitable for  for  Derbyshire and propagation has therefore been discontinued.  One plant remaining for sale.
