Indocalamus solidus

Large leaves - 20cm. long by 3.5cm wide is possible.

Slow to gain  height but can be over 7ft.(2m).

Upright habit and vigorously spreading rhizomes.

Tolerant of light shade.

 Has tolerated -20C. 

Useful in pots or as a tall groundcover.

Can be trimmed hard in spring when necessary.
