Exceptionally large, glossy, leaves, sometimes 50cm
Forms an exotic looking mound of foliage about 3ft.(1m) high. Ideal for a sub-tropical style.
Spreading root system but not uncontrollable.
Has tolerated -25C.
A good specimen plant or groundcover.
Shade tolerant.
RHS Award.
Possibly more vigorous than I. hamadae.
