which is likely to reach about 15ft.(5m) or more. The culms are of medium thickness (approx. 3.4cm diameter) and have prominent nodes. A hardy, running bamboo with a dense, upright habit. Somewhat similar to Phyllostachys bissetii and very suitable for screening or growing in containers. Has tolerated -18C. Best in full sun. |
