Pleioblastus distichus
(syn. Pleioblastus pygmaeus 'Distichus')

 A low growing bamboo characterized by the unusual fan-like arrangement of its pale green leaves. 

Forms a slowly spreading mound around 2ft.(0.6m) high. 

Best in sun or only light shade and benefits from periodic trimming. 

An interesting specimen or container plant.

Flowered around 2010 and unlikely to be available for some time.
