Pleioblastus shibuyanus 'Tsuboi'

( syn. Pleioblastus variegatus 'Tsuboi' )

Slow growing specimen plant, with prominent cream variegation.

Slowly spreading mounded habit, eventually reaching about 6ft.(2m) high. Readily trimmed.

Also suitable for containers. 

Has tolerated -18C.

Flowered in 2009 but a single plant of the original variety survived and is now in the process of propagation.

Although a spreading variety, it is surprisingly slow to propagate  and only a single plant is available this year.
