It is believed to be able to tolerate about -8 to -15C. and should be suitable for sun or light shade. 

Mature height in UK not yet known but likely to be over 2m.

Collected from Caoijian, 25/2 by Keith Rushforth and introduced via Ness Botanical Gardens.

Vigorously spreading and very suitable as a low screen when grown in  troughs or container where the plentiful new canes each year, provide a rapid effect.
